Description

This is my entry for the UDON's Megaman tribute, that finally wasn't elected. I'm quite happy with the drawing itself, especially the pose and the sense of dynamism, but since I never played any Megaman game, I didn't know anything special to show in the drawing. I chose Megaman Zero because their look is the best of all versions, in my opinion.
Done with Paint Tool SAI.

This is quite an interesting piece of art here! It's really got character and life! You did a great job at the placing of the highlights and shading, they're near perfect if not perfect! The simple BG is cool, complimenting, and not too distracting! It's a nice touch!

May I say, however though, that the positioning and bend of his arm looks a bit odd. The way it curves, where it bends, etc. is a tad strange in my eyes. I realize his fingers are probably supposed to be bent, but the way they are shown makes them look too round and such to be a bend from the joints. The hair also looks magnificent with how it flows, the shading, etc. but I think it's a bit too "Piecey" and in too many different clumps for his style. Getting it to flow in some areas is obviously necessary, but try making it less clumped where it's hanging down and flowing with the main mass of the hair, I think you'll get a smoother looking result in the hair that way and make it look even more convincing than it already is.

All in all this is probably the best piece of Zero I've seen done in a long time. The above things I noticed haven't changed how wonderful this is in my eyes. I think I will always adore this picture and it'd be fantastic to see another one like this done by you.
